Model boat kit
Scottish Fishing Vessel Fifie
Kit by Amati
The Fifie was a sailing fishing boat of Scotland's east coast, used mainly for herring from the 1850s into the 20th century, with a vertical stem and stern and a broad beam.
Amati's kit is 1:32 scale, built on a laser-cut keel and frames with double planking. Cloth for the sails, rigging thread and photo-etched brass parts are included.
What building a Scottish Fishing Vessel Fifie actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
