Model boat kit
Endeavour
Kit by Corel
Endeavour was a former collier, the Earl of Pembroke, bought by the Admiralty and refitted for James Cook's voyage of exploration, which left Plymouth on 26 August 1768. She carried observers to Tahiti for the 1769 transit of Venus, then charted the coasts of New Zealand and the east coast of Australia before returning in 1771.
Corel's 1:50 kit (SM41) contains everything needed to complete the model, which is 750 mm long and 650 mm high. Corel recommends it for beginners.
What building a Endeavour actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
