Model boat kit
Robert E. Lee
Kit by Amati
The Robert E. Lee was a Mississippi River steamboat built in 1866 that carried passengers and cotton between New Orleans and St. Louis and won the 1870 race against the Natchez.
Amati's 1:150 kit has a pre-built wooden hull with laser-cut decks and superstructure. Wooden deck planking, wood paneling and photo-etched brass railings are supplied.
What building a Robert E. Lee actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
