The Boulogne Etaples type is an 11 m steel stern trawler of the kind that works out of Boulogne-sur-Mer, the largest fishing port in France, and nearby Etaples on the Canche estuary. Small trawlers like her fish the eastern Channel on day trips and land their catch close to home.
