Harriet Lane Steam Paddle Cutter
Kit by Model Shipways
Harriet Lane was a side-wheel steam cutter built in New York in 1857 for the US Revenue Service, carrying a sail rig as well as her engines. She served in the Civil War and was captured by Confederate forces at Galveston in 1863.
The 1:96 kit is plank on bulkhead with laser-cut basswood parts, walnut blocks and deadeyes, and cast Britannia metal guns and fittings.
