Production model
Roamer
Built by Chris-Craft
Built in steel, and later aluminum, rather than wood, at a time when the rest of the yard was still planking mahogany. A different restoration entirely: the enemy is corrosion rather than rot, and the hull outlasts everything fitted to it. The name came back in the 2000s on a modern fiberglass express, which is not the same boat in any respect.
What building a Roamer actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
