Jessy 15
Designed by Graham Byrnes
A 15 ft outboard skiff by Graham Byrnes of B&B Yacht Designs, the middle boat of the Jessy family. B&B explains that the Jessy 12 came first as a simple motor skiff, and that 15 ft and 17 ft versions followed at builders' request. Plans are sold, but the site gives no beam, weight or power figures for the 15, so none are recorded here.
The Jessy 12 and 17 are both simple plywood skiffs that are stitched together and glassed, and the 12 is recommended by the designer as a first build. Budget 150 to 300 hours as a rule of thumb. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
What building a Jessy 15 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
