Nimrod
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 15 ft outboard utility boat from Glen-L Marine whose seats fold forward and a section of cockpit floor lifts to form two bunks under the foredeck. A generous vee and lifted chines keep it dry; 6 ft beam, about 400 lb, outboards to 60 hp, a 4.5 by 9 ft cockpit.
A straightforward plywood build with one clever trick. Budget 250 to 400 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Nimrod actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
