10' Garvey Jolle

A 3.05 m garvey dinghy supplied as a CNC-cut plywood kit by Boatkits, the German-language kit shop of the Danish firm Boatplans ApS. Stitch and glue with glass tape and epoxy, 1.18 m in beam and about 45 kg, it fishes, rows, sails or takes a small outboard (the data table lists 3 to 8 hp) and carries up to three. It fits a roof rack, and the bow is shaped for light chop on lakes and fjords.
A simple kit with few panels, suited to a first build. Boatkits quotes 40 to 50 hours for hull and structure and says finishing adds 1 to 1.5 times that again, so budget roughly 80 to 125 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
