Wild thing

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 10 ft stitch-and-glue personal watercraft from Glen-L Marine, sat on like a motorcycle and planing almost instantly on an outboard to 20 hp, about 100 lb. The plywood is cut to patterns, assembled flat and folded into a vee-arc hull with no jig or form. Glen-L's own capitalisation of the name is kept.

Quick, cheap and well within almost anyone's ability, in Glen-L's words. Allow 60 to 120 hours. Stitch-and-glue kits are available. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
