21' Garvey-Flex-Boot

A 6.54 m garvey workboat sold as a CNC-cut plywood kit by Boatkits, the kit arm of Denmark's Boatplans ApS. It has a large open deck and a wheelhouse for up to three, and is built for hard weather; self-closing freeing ports are optional. Beam is 2.30 m, hull weight about 520 kg, and it carries up to six. The page recommends a 40 to 90 hp outboard.
The biggest of the garveys and a serious build that suits an experienced amateur. Boatkits gives 160 to 170 hours for hull and structure only and puts fairing, paint and outfitting at 1 to 1.5 times that again. A rough budget is 320 to 425 hours.
