Crispy 650
Designed by Cristian Pilo
A 6.5 m open planing boat by Cristian Pilo of Modern Wooden Boat with about 9 square metres of cockpit. It takes a single outboard of 60 to 115 hp or twins up to 140 hp in total, and the designer expects about 33 knots with the largest single engine and four aboard, or 26 knots with 60 hp. Beam is a trailerable 2.50 m, hull weight 700 kg and maximum displacement 1,600 kg.
Plywood bulkheads are set up on a simple building frame, tied together with solid wood stringers and a keel backbone, then planked in okoume plywood with glass taped chines inside and out. Budget 600 to 1,000 hours. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
