A 4.57 m console-steered family boat by Mark Bowdidge of Bowdidge Marine Designs in Australia, drawn for fishing, snorkelling trips and general days out. Unlike his plywood boats of this size she is strip plank composite. The hull is 1.98 m wide with 15 degrees of deadrise, seats five, has a 70 litre underfloor tank and level flotation, and takes up to 70 hp. The designer estimates about 401 kg on the trailer with motor and fuel.
Eighteen plan sheets come with full-size patterns, over 150 build photos and performance data. Strip planking and fairing a compound hull takes longer than sheet plywood, though a patient beginner can learn it. With no designer figure, budget 500 to 800 hours.
