Dipper 19

Designed by Sam Devlin

An 18 ft 8 in pocket motor cruiser by Sam Devlin, originally sized to fit a 20 ft shipping container. It has a pilothouse with a stand-up galley, twin berths forward that convert to one large bed, and an open cockpit. Beam is 86 in, draft 15 in and displacement 2,545 lb. Power is twin high-thrust 10 or 15 hp outboards, or a single of up to 90 hp. Chesapeake Light Craft sells hull kit packages and Devlin sells the plans.

Stitch-and-glue from traditional plans, and a full cabin boat to fit out. CLC rates it advanced and estimates 800 hours, depending on finish. Real hours from logged builds are below.
