Vila 570
Designed by Paolo Lodigiani and Matteo Costa
The Vila are the fairy figures of Slav mythology, close cousins of the Greek nymphs, who control storms and live in fields, ponds, trees and clouds. The boat comes from a project rooted in the same world: cruising out of Belgrade along the Danube, the Sava and their tributaries, thousands of kilometres of inland water that pleasure boating has barely touched. She is drawn for long passages that are quick but unhurried, in protected water, and works equally well on the coast.
A 5.70 m outboard boat, the smallest of three sisters named for the water spirits of Slavic folklore. Chine hull in plywood.
What building a Vila 570 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
