Rhode Runner - The CLC Runabout
Designed by Chesapeake Light Craft
A 14 ft 9 in outboard runabout designed in-house at Chesapeake Light Craft to echo the post-war Lyman and Chris-Craft boats. It is CNC-cut stitch-and-glue plywood built without a mold, about 350 lb, rated for 15 to 25 hp and four adults, and CLC recorded 24 mph with a 25 hp motor. The kit deck has milled grooves inlaid with dark cedar strips. Full-size plans are sold for scratch builders.
This is one of CLC's Pro Kits, meant for confident builders with a couple of stitch-and-glue boats behind them. CLC says the complete kit can be assembled in 250 to 300 hours; allow more for a show finish. Measured medians from build logs appear below.

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
