Czarinna 35
Designed by Sam Devlin
A 35 ft 2 in fantail displacement cruiser by Sam Devlin, the mid-sized Czarinna. The saloon has 6 ft 4 in headroom, a dinette for four that converts to a double, a settee berth, a solid-fuel heater, and a head to starboard with a separate standing shower to port. The galley shares the forward pilothouse with the helm. Two 27 hp Yanmar diesels give a quoted range of 680 nautical miles, and she carries 165 gallons of water.
She is available as study plans or as a complete custom build by Devlin. For an amateur this would be a long project needing real experience. As a rule of thumb, allow 5,000 to 7,000 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
What building a Czarinna 35 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
