A 15 ft wherry from Walt Simmons of Duck Trap Woodworking in Lincolnville, Maine, whose shop has built wherries since the 1970s. She is offered as a full-size lofting on 36 in wide paper, which supplies the body plan and backbone shapes at actual size. The designer's site gives only her name, length and price, with no beam, weight or construction notes published so far.
Simmons's other wherries are lapstrake boats on plank keels, and builders should expect similar work here, though the site does not confirm it. Some planking experience would be an advantage.
