Catalina Express

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 27 ft trailerable deep-vee express cruiser from Glen-L Marine, the same full-length 18 degree deep-vee sheet plywood hull as the Phantom with a radar bar, flying bridge helm and flush self-draining cockpit over a stern-mounted I/O or vee-drive engine. Berths for four or five.

The plans, frame kit and full-size patterns are written for amateurs, and the sheet plywood hull is cheap and light. Budget 1,500 to 2,500 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
