The one-off fiberglass version of Glen-L Marine's 25 ft trailerable sloop, built in C-Flex fiberglass planking or PVC foam sandwich from an entirely separate set of plans to the plywood boat, sharing the same masthead rig. Choice of ballasted centerboard or fixed keel, single or double cabin, and an outboard to 10 hp on a bracket.
For an amateur ready to learn one-off glass work, which is messy but well documented. Fairing a round-bilge 25-footer is the long part. Budget 1,400 to 2,200 hours. Measured medians from logged builds are below.
