Glen-L 30
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 30 ft cruising auxiliary from Glen-L Marine on two sets of plans: the Glen-L 30 in double-diagonal cold-molded plywood over bulkheads and longitudinals, or the 30FG in one-off fiberglass. Six berths, a family layout, a long keel and a double-headsail masthead rig for cruising, with a 10 to 20 hp inboard.
A multi-year build for an experienced amateur. Budget 2,500 to 4,000 hours over four to seven years. The medians below are from real build logs and will tell you what it actually took.
What building a Glen-L 30 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
