An 18 ft 6 in mini tug from Glen-L Marine for work or pleasure, a step up in cabin and cockpit space from the smallest of the range, with a private forward stateroom of two 6 ft 3 in berths, sitting headroom and space for a portable head, and a deckhouse you lay out to suit. Sheet plywood over wood framing, welded aluminum or steel; about 4,800 lb.
Glen-L notes its shrink-wrap technique speeds and tidies the build. Budget 800 to 1,400 hours in plywood. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
