Hell Cat
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 15 ft 11 in power catamaran from Glen-L Marine with a very large cockpit for diving gear and passengers and the smooth ride that twin hulls give. Sheet plywood, about 700 lb, twin outboards to 130 hp total.
Two simple plywood hulls and a deck from full patterns. Budget 400 to 650 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Hell Cat actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
