A 20 ft 2 in deep-vee sportfishing boat from Glen-L Marine with no cabin beyond an enclosed head under the helm seat, full walkaround decks, covered storage for gear and catch, and the helmsman's eye 8 ft above the water. Sheet plywood, 16 degree deadrise with lift strakes, 75 to 90 gallons of fuel; outboards or a stern-drive inboard. Glen-L publish a beam of 8 ft 0 in, a hull depth of 3 ft 9 in and a draft of 13 in.
The bare hull comes out at about 1100 lb. Displacement is 3000 lb. The hull is a full length deep vee with 16o min. deadrise and lift strakes. Hard chine, developed for sheet plywood planking. For power they specify single or twin outboard motors or single inboard stern mounted motor, connected to an outdrive or v-drive. They draw a matching trailer for her. A conventional plywood build without the interior a cruiser demands. Budget 600 to 1,000 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
