A 22 ft 10 in flat-bottomed Pacific power dory from Glen-L Marine, the kind launched straight through the surf thanks to the abruptly raised bow and wide flare. A wide-open hull to fit out with console, seating, holds or bait tanks; Glen-L sells dory cabin plans that adapt to it. Sheet plywood, well-mounted outboard standard. Glen-L publish a beam of 8 ft 0 in and a hull depth of 4 ft 2 in.
The bare hull comes out at about 1000 lb. The hull is a flat bottom dory-type aft. Developed for sheet plywood planking with outer rub strakes. For power they specify single well-mounted outboard standard. They draw a matching trailer for her. One of the simplest 23-footers to build. Budget 400 to 800 hours.
