Picklefork

A 9 ft 6 in picklefork three-point hydroplane from Glen-L Marine, super-simplified for a first-time builder: every part is either a full-size pattern or a plain rectangle, keyed for assembly, with no building form or jig, and the whole boat goes together on a bench. Sheet plywood, about 90 lb, a short-shaft outboard to 80 lb.

Perspective drawings and prototype photos walk a beginner through it. Allow 50 to 100 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
