Quest
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 23 ft 4 in trailerable houseboat from Glen-L Marine on a vee-bottomed planing hull that will pull skiers: 100 hp gives about 24 mph. Sleeps five, with a toilet room with shower, complete galley, a front-porch forward cockpit and a sun deck on the cabin top. Sheet plywood; outboards or stern drives to 600 lb.
Glen-L rates the construction easy even for the amateur. Budget 900 to 1,500 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
What building a Quest actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
