Harbormaster

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 23 ft 2 in replica steam-era harbor launch from Glen-L Marine, a round-bilge displacement hull with tumblehome aft and a deep skeg, running about 6 knots on a 5 to 10 hp gasoline, diesel, steam or electric inboard. Built in conventional or epoxy strip planking with a double veneer skin, or in one-off fiberglass, and finished with brass and bright wood.

A strip-planked round-bilge hull plus a lot of finishing is patient work rather than hard work. Budget 800 to 1,400 hours. Measured medians from logged builds show below.
