Ski King
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 15 ft mid-engine inboard utility from Glen-L Marine's 1957 catalog, a fast, stable vee-bottom for towing skiers on a compact 45 to 100 hp inboard, with Glen-L's lock-in frame method drawn especially for amateur building. Sheet plywood, about 700 lb.
A proven, simple plywood build with a small inboard to fit. Budget 400 to 650 hours. Real hours from logged builds show below.
What building a Ski King actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
