True Grit

Designed by Glen-L Marine

A 25 ft trailerable utility sportfisher from Glen-L Marine, drawn for sheet plywood over wood framing, welded aluminum or welded steel, with 23 and 27 ft options on the same plans. Outboard, I/O or inboard power: 45 to 60 hp for 10 to 12 knots, or 150 hp for the high teens. A sedan cruiser version adds an enclosed deckhouse, berths for four and a shower.

Rugged and quick to build for its size, with full-size frame patterns and no lofting. Budget 1,000 to 1,800 hours in plywood. Real hours from logged builds are below.
