Rogue had been brewing for a while as an idea, a fast general purpose dinghy that would also row and take an outboard, three things that usually fight each other badly enough that a boat attempting all of them does none well. Two clients arrived at once, one wanting a light roomy outboard boat for fishing round the Cavalli Islands and the other a sailing dinghy to carry two friends and camping gear around trailerable lakes and inlets, and the drawings went out a sheet at a time as the two builders caught up.
A 14 ft 7 in daysailer with classical lines and, by the designer's account, sneaky speed. Carries 118 sq ft at 80 kg on a narrow 4 ft 5 in beam, and is drawn to row and take a small outboard as well as sail.
