Classic Delta 29
Designed by P&F Yacht Design
The Classic Delta 29 is a 29 foot retro-inspired semi-displacement powerboat from P&F Yacht Design, drawn for weekend cruising and fishing and intended for amateur builders. It is built in plywood and epoxy, with a full set of construction plans plus CNC cutting files that cut every panel, bulkhead and structural member with puzzle joints and slots for fast, accurate assembly, optimized for standard 2400 by 1200 mm plywood sheets.
It can be set up with twin inboard engines or an outboard, and several are under construction around the world. The plans and the DXF cutting files are sold together from the project page linked here; there is no shipped kit, so the builder has the sheets cut locally or cuts them by hand from the full-size patterns.
What building a Classic Delta 29 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
