Stow-Away 7.5
Designed by Spirited Designs
The middle size of the Stow-Away family, 7.5 m long and 3 m wide, which the designer says can still be towed in daylight hours. The extra beam over the 6.5 m version buys noticeably more room on deck and below, while keeping the pop-top that drops for low lines under way and lifts for standing headroom at rest.
Inside there is a small galley, an L-shaped dinette, a double berth in the main cabin with a row of vertical windows looking forward, and a single forward in the starboard hull; the port hull carries the centreboard case. A single 60 hp outboard is recommended. The design is meant for a small family cruising a few days at a time and for beaching near a campsite, and is built in DuFLEX or plain foam in about 750 hours.
What building a Stow-Away 7.5 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
