Twin Star

Designed by Ray Klebba

The Twin Star appears in Ray Klebba's sea kayak list, but his own page says plainly that she was a custom built, one of a kind boat and that the model has been discontinued. The page headline describes her as smooth lined, very stable and fun for the family, which suggests a roomy, forgiving touring kayak rather than a performance boat, but no length, beam or weight is published.

There are no stock plans or kits to buy. Klebba does say that anyone seriously interested can call the shop to talk about it, so a builder set on this particular boat would be starting a conversation with White Salmon Boat Works about a custom job, not ordering a plan set. Anyone wanting a strip built sea kayak from the same designer off the shelf has the Polar Star, Shell Star and Columbia Star to choose from.

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
