HMS Bounty Jolly Boat
Kit by Artesania Latina
After the mutiny on HMS Bounty in 1789, William Bligh and 18 loyal men were set adrift in the ship's small boat and sailed it some 3,500 nautical miles to Coupang in 47 days.
This 1:25 kit of that boat is built on a false keel and frames from laser cut plywood and hardwood sheets with wood strips and veneers. It includes sewn cotton sails, die cast and brass fittings and a display base, and is aimed at beginners.
What building a HMS Bounty Jolly Boat actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
