Model boat kit
Spray
Kit by Bluejacket
Spray was the old oyster sloop that Joshua Slocum rebuilt and sailed alone around the world between 1895 and 1898, the first recorded solo circumnavigation. She disappeared with Slocum in 1909.
The 3/8 inch scale kit (KLW201) uses extra-thick planking over a complex hull shape, with much of the wood laser cut, plus Britannia fittings, sailcloth and a display cradle.
What building a Spray actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
