Just a guy building a boat in my shop in Northern California. This is my fourth. Theresa ll is the design name,#139, drawn by Albert Strange in 1913. She is a canoe counter-stern gaff rigged yawl 25 1/2 feet on deck, with 8300 pounds displacement. I am currently double planking the hull with Alaskan yellow cedar over laminated white oak frames. At this point I’m five years into the build. Lofting and set up, took the first two years. Ribbands and framing took more than a year. I have no idea how many hours I have in the build. Probably close to 4000 so far. My goal is to teach and inspire others to build. If you’re going to build make it historic.
