Salmon Wherry 15.5
Designed by Bartender Boats
A modified West Coast salmon wherry, a light sailing and pulling boat, here drawn at 15 ft 6 in with a 13 ft 6 in waterline, 4 ft 10 in beam and only 6 in of draft. She displaces about 395 lb and carries 111 sq ft of sail.
This is the most complete of the small-boat sets on offer and the reference for the whole wherry family: it has lines and offsets, the hull profile and sail plan, the jig and mold set-up and the construction details. The 17 ft and 19 ft wherry plans tell builders to use this set for their construction details, so anyone building either of those will want it as well.
