Tenas Tiama
Designed by Bartender Boats
A small modified West Coast salmon wherry, listed as a 14 footer but measuring 13 ft 7.75 in overall, with an 11 ft 6 in waterline, a 4 ft 6 in beam and a very shallow 4.5 in draft. She is the compact member of the wherry group, light enough to launch from a beach and handy for one person.
Two rigs are drawn: a gaff rig of 95 sq ft and a simpler sprit rig of 70 sq ft. The plans include lines and offsets, the hull profile, both sail plans and construction details, so unlike some of the other small sets this one is self-contained and can be built from without buying a companion plan.
What building a Tenas Tiama actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
