A 21 ft 9 in small traditional lobster boat by Jacques Mertens, sold by Bateau / Boat Builder Central as the Nina (LB22). It uses the double wedge launch form, a semi-displacement shape valued for holding speed in a chop without pounding, and works as a fishing launch or picnic boat. Beam is 6 ft 11 in, draft 13 in, and hull weight about 950 lb including console and basic rigging. It runs on 30 to 50 hp.

Stitch and glue in method, but a true sandwich with plywood as the core between directional glass. The designer's figure is 50 hours for the hull and 200 hours or more finished. Budget 300 to 500. Logged build hours for this design are shown below.
