Play 'n Jane
Designed by Glen-L Marine
A 21 ft 9 in trailerable workboat from Glen-L Marine for use as a launch, buoy tender, patrol boat, yard tug or fishing boat, with a flush cockpit, a hold for about three-quarters of a ton, and a cabin with standing headroom, two berths and a head. A 10 hp inboard gives 6.5 knots and about 500 miles on a tank; plywood on frame.
Plain, tough and economical to build. Budget 800 to 1,400 hours. Measured medians from logged builds appear below.
What building a Play 'n Jane actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
