Flateka no. 16
Designed by Bertil Andersson
Also listed as a kobb, this flat-bottomed boat was built of pine in 1938 by Bernt Jönsson at Västra Näs in Blekinge. At 4.975 m by 1.52 m she is one of the longer flatekor in the set.
Flat-bottomed ekor are usually associated with inland lakes, but Andersson points out that plenty were built for the coast as well, the best known being the Bohuslän doris, which came from the Newfoundland dory. Depending on the district the same kind of boat might also be called a pram or prömm. The drawing is a single 1:10 sheet combining the construction and frame drawings, measured in September 1980, so it is a compact set best suited to a builder comfortable working from limited information.

Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
