Moccasin 14 Canoe

A 14 ft solo tripping canoe by Graham Byrnes of B&B Yacht Designs, 28 in wide, 11 1/2 in deep and about 38 lb. It was first drawn as a light, easily portaged boat for the Bowron Lakes canoe circuit in British Columbia. It carries one adult and a child or camping gear. Plans and a CNC kit are sold.

Four identical panels and a centre panel fold into shape and are held with cable ties while gunwales and thwarts go in, then a bottom doubler, taped chines and a keel strip finish the hull. Budget 60 to 110 hours as a rule of thumb. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
