The Puck keeps faith with what the Micro class was for: a boat that races, cruises the coast, trails easily and does not cost much. She is comfortable and stable with a relatively roomy interior and four berths, one more than the class minimum, and she is straightforward enough to build to stay cheap. The sail area is the class maximum, which is moderate but enough to make her fun. She will race honourably against production boats and is frank about being outclassed by the out-and-out racers.
A 5.50 m Micro class boat, a class drawn up for small cheap cruiser racers. Four berths, one more than the rules require, stable and roomy for the length, and an honest club racer rather than a machine. Chine hull, stitch and glue.
