10' Jolle
Designed by Boatkits
A 3.08 m rowing dinghy sold as a CNC-cut stitch-and-glue plywood kit by Boatkits, part of Denmark's Boatplans ApS. At 1.06 m in beam and about 25 kg it is an easy car-top load for two people on lakes and sheltered water, for fishing the shallows or pottering between islands. It rows, paddles, or takes a small outboard or electric motor; the text suggests 2 to 3 hp and the data table allows up to 5.
One of the lighter jobs in the range and a fair first boat. The kit house's figure is 30 to 40 hours to the bare hull, with finishing put at 1 to 1.5 times as much on top. Budget roughly 60 to 100 hours. Measured medians from build logs appear below.
What building a 10' Jolle actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
