A 5.24 m mini cruiser for day and weekend trips, sold as a CNC-cut plywood kit by Boatkits (Boatplans ApS, Denmark). The cabin holds a double berth, a small locker and galley, with space for a portable toilet but no standing headroom. The large cockpit has no fixed seats. An outboard of 8 to 15 hp sits in a well aft, hidden and quiet. Beam is 1.94 m and weight about 245 kg.
A cabin boat with a motor well is a step beyond an open dinghy, so some experience helps. The kit house's figure is 90 to 100 hours to the bare hull, with finishing put at 1 to 1.5 times as much on top. Budget roughly 180 to 250 hours. Logged build times from this site follow below.
