EdgeTracker 365
Designed by Mark Bowdidge
A 3.65 m deep-vee fishing boat by Mark Bowdidge of Bowdidge Marine Designs, Australia, unusual for carrying 18 degrees of transom deadrise at this size. To steady her at rest the design includes a water ballast tank under the floor that drains quickly on the plane and refills when stopped. Builders who skip it fit an underfloor fuel tank. She is 1.57 m wide, tiller steered, takes a 30 hp long-shaft outboard and is built in plywood sheathed with epoxy and fibreglass.
Eleven plan sheets include full-size bulkhead patterns and a manual, and the designer states most of his customers have not built before. He publishes no build times. A rule-of-thumb budget is 200 to 350 hours. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
What building a EdgeTracker 365 actually takes
Medians from the build logs kept on this site, not the designer’s estimate. Nobody has logged this boat here yet, so they are empty until the first builder does.
Those medians firm up as more people log this boat.
