CLC Gislinge Boat

A 25 ft 3 in wood-epoxy replica of a Danish working boat built around 1130 and excavated near Gislinge in 1993. John Harris and the CLC team developed it from 2019 using drawings released by the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. The lapstrake plywood hull is assembled stitch-and-glue style, is 67 in wide, weighs about 975 lb, carries 800 lb, rows, and sets a 117 sq ft dipping lug. CLC describes a kit sold in packages and lists study plans.
