Designed by Sam Devlin
A 26 ft 4 in double-ended displacement power cruiser by Sam Devlin, the smallest of his heavy workboat-style designs and intended for stitch and glue construction. Beam is 9 ft 3 in, draft 3 ft 6 in and displacement 8,000 lb. A small diesel gives a range the designer puts at more than 800 nautical miles. There are berths for three and an enclosed head.
It is offered as study plans only, with an invitation to contact the designer to have it developed. The heavy hull, inboard diesel and full interior call for an experienced amateur. As a rule of thumb, expect 3,000 to 4,500 hours. The medians below come from builders who logged this boat here.
