A 17 ft deep-vee overnighter from Glen-L Marine, the same soft-riding hull as the Roustabout with two full-length berths in a cuddy and plenty of cockpit for fishing. Sheet plywood, about 900 lb; outboards to 135 hp total or a stern-drive inboard to 650 lb. Glen-L publish a beam of 7 ft 6 in, a hull depth of 3 ft 9 in and a draft of 11 in.
Headroom below is 3'-0". The hull is a full length deep vee with lift strakes, developed for sheet plywood planking. They draw a matching trailer for her. Glen-L's point is that sheet plywood puts a deep-vee hull within an amateur's reach at a fraction of a production boat's cost. Budget 400 to 650 hours. Real hours from logged builds are below.
